Prior to the arrival of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 in Indiana, Vasu Voleti, MD, MBA’19, was tackling the issue of using telehealth at her hospital system.
Through a healthcare policy course, Mary Pell Abernathy, MD, MBA’18, learned how to communicate with lawmakers to create change. She’s now working to improve state laws as she advocates on behalf of fetal and maternal health in Indiana.
