In the days leading up to the IUPUI Top 100 Outstanding Students Recognition Dinner, we will be featuring our Kelley students who have been named a Top 100 for 2017.
What has been your favorite experience so far at Kelley?
My favorite Kelley experience was being a part of the Kelley Honors Regatta Team this past fall. I was a handler, so I was able to run back and forth on the canal with other Kelley Honors students cheering the team on.
What has been your favorite class and why?
My favorite class so far out of my college career has been the London Study Abroad class, which I am currently taking. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Brexit and the UK’s history. The spring break trip is coming up soon, and I am looking forward to exploring London and learning about business while we are there.
Favorite activity/extracurricular activity that you have been involved in while at Kelley?
My favorite event that I have been a part of while in Kelley is Jagathon. I was actually the Corporate Sponsorship co-director my freshman year, where I saw all the behind the scenes action that makes Jagathon possible. It is a wonderful event and feeling of being a part of raising money for all of the Riley kids.
What is your Kelley moment?
My Kelley moment happened while I was taking Financial Accounting (BUS-A204). As nerdy as it sounds, that class is where I discovered I wanted to major in accounting because I liked the puzzle. I enjoyed trying to figure out which numbers went where in journal entries. Ever since that class, I have been on the route to graduate and have a career with accounting.
