Congratulations are in order to the Kelley School students involved in the JagStart Student Idea Pitch Competition held on IUPUI’s campus Friday afternoon.
More than a dozen students gave three minute elevator pitches for a new product or venture in front of judges and a live audience.
Three current Kelley School students and a pre-business student were chosen to compete as finalists in the competition.
Kristina Tinsley, BS’21, took home second place in the competition, with her idea called “Coining Forces: Serving Together.” Tinsley’s idea is for an app that would help serve military families.
Monica Kinsey, BS’18, took home third place for her venture entitled “Waste, Erased,” which is an idea for a zero waste grocery store in Indianapolis.
Also finalists competing in the competition: Tony Nguyen, BS’18, whose product is entitled “Greener Vending,” which offers refillable products for consumer use at vending machines to reduce waste.
Pre-business student Logan Walter, BS’20, competed with his venture entitled “Shut Eye Sleep Pods,” or a place to rest over a layover.
Congratulations to all involved!
