More than a dozen faculty members were honored this year with teaching excellence awards, both at the campus-level and within the Kelley School of Business.
Amrou Awaysheh, assistant professor of operations management, and Kim Donahue, senior lecturer in marketing, received the Trustees Teaching Award. The award is given to faculty at IUPUI who have a positive impact on learning for their students and demonstrate teaching excellence.
The committee recognized Awaysheh’s work with the enterprise course (X524) and in building relationships between the school and corporations. The committee recognized Donahue’s contribution as I-Core coordinator, which partners the school and students with local businesses and sets the Kelley School at IUPUI apart.
Judith Wright, clinical assistant professor of business law, received the Graduate Accounting Teaching Excellence Award, which is presented to the top faculty member in the Graduate Accounting Programs. Wright also received the Lilly Alumni MBA Teaching Excellence Award, the highest faculty award given each year to a professor in the Evening MBA Program.
Four professors received an Evening MBA Teaching Excellence Award this year:

Six faculty members received the Schuyler F. Otteson Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award. This award is presented by the Kelley School of Business at IUPUI Student Government each year to both full-time and part-time faculty members teaching in the undergraduate program. The faculty members are nominated by students and chosen by student government.

The Kelley Indianapolis Student Government (KISG) also recognized Mark Ippolito, senior lecturer in operations management, as the Faculty Advisor of the Year. He is the advisor for the Operations and Supply Chain Management Club (OSCM).
A number of faculty and associate faculty were also recognized with Teaching Service Awards, marking the number of years of service to the school.
