Each year, IU Indianapolis celebrates 100 outstanding undergraduate students who have excelled in their time on campus. The students they select for this award have succeeded in academic excellence, campus leadership, and community engagement.
This year, 14 Kelley School of Business Indianapolis undergraduate students were named in the list: Navi Bedi, Anish Bhawal, Nick Bustamante, Nolan Campbell, Aissa Condori, Kennedy Garrett, Damon Gregory, Kimberly Hestermann, Vibha Kamath, Supreet Kaur, Kiana Kenmotsu, Nerea Lancho Poza, Paarth Mehta, and Brett Scrogham. These seniors will be celebrated at the new Honors Convocation in April.
We spoke with each of our Top 100 recipients about their student experience at Kelley Indianapolis. Learn more about some of their favorite moments on campus.
Navi Bedi, BS’26

Which class made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
I-Core challenged me to apply and present various business concepts in a real-world setting, work collaboratively in a team, and develop problem-solving skills. The experience helped me grow significantly, strengthening my ability to analyze business decisions and preparing me for future professional challenges.
What is your advice to a student considering joining Kelley Indianapolis?
Stay active on campus, as it is one of the best ways to network and make meaningful connections. Getting involved in clubs, attending events, and engaging with professors and peers can open doors to new opportunities, help you build valuable skills, and enhance your overall college experience.

Anish Bhawal, BS’26

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
Serving as a First Year Seminar mentor for the Business Learning Community section, which caters to first-year Kelley Direct Admit students as they transition into Kelley Indianapolis. The proudest moment I had from this experience was when two of my mentees from the class secured internships through the newly introduced Business Plus program.
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Dr. Demetra Andrews, my professor for Intro to Business Administration (BUS-X 100). My experience in the class helped me identify my passion for business and the majors I wanted to pursue. I attended Dr. Andrews’ office hours, and the constant support and mentorship I received helped me develop professionally and helped me make further connections at Kelley Indianapolis.
Nick Bustamante, BS’25

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
Rowing for the Kelley Honors Regatta team! Although my team didn’t make it very far, we enjoyed every second of it. From nearly tipping over to crossing that finish line with a smile on our faces, we were simply happy to be there.
Which class made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
My finance class during I-Core because of its rigorous material and challenging environment. This class was my first exposure to working on real financial problems and creating financial deliverables for a real company with a new business idea designed by my group in the class. It solidified my interest in a career in finance.
Nolan Campbell, BS’25

Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Professor Charlotte Westerhaus-Renfrow’s genuine interest in the subject and in our lives shows her compassion and dedication to the students that sets Kelley apart from any other school.
Which class made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
Taking the project management class with Professor Mohan Tatikonda opened more avenues for me to take my supply chain degree. It also gave me more confidence to work on teams in whatever field I go into after Kelley.
Aissa Condori, BS’25
Aissa was also named to the Top 10 graduating seniors among the Top 100.

Which class made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
I took a class called Digital Media Imagery that ignited my interest in design and showed me firsthand how powerful visual communication can be in marketing. It has inspired me to pursue innovative approaches that blend creativity with strategy, and I’m excited to see how these skills will shape my future career in the marketing field.
What is your advice to a student considering joining Kelley Indianapolis?
Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Embrace new challenges, join clubs, participate in events andworkshops. These experiences will enrich your education and prepare you for a professional career.
Kennedy Garrett, BS’25

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
Honors I-Core. The professors, the hands-on projects, and the strong bonds formed with my classmates have made it truly unforgettable. It provided a unique opportunity to collaborate with driven peers while learning from dedicated professors, and the overall experience was incredibly rewarding, both academically and personally.
Which professors impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Several professors have played a significant role in my experience at Kelley: Peter Frankos, Kevin Yancey, and Stephen Trullinger. What sets them apart is their genuine commitment to getting to know their students and their dedication to ensuring we succeed.
Damon Gregory, BS’26

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
The opportunity to introduce incoming freshman to Kelley as an Orientation Leader. Helping to create a sense of community at Kelley Indianapolis has been one of my most rewarding experiences.
Which project made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
Being a founding member of DAIRE, the Diversity and Inclusion in Real Estate club. Starting a club has not only shaped my leadership style but also reinforced my passion for creating meaningful opportunities for others. Moving forward, I know that the skills and lessons I’ve gained from DAIRE will continue to influence my professional path and personal growth.

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
The opportunity to be a part of the Women in Business (WIB) club. I’ve grown significantly as a leader and person because of the opportunities WIB has given me, and found amazing friends who help push me to be the best person and leader I can be.
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Emily Murphy’s business communication class taught some of the most beneficial, tangible skills needed for the workplace and someone’s professional journey. She is a great advisor for WIB and genuinely cares about her students. Terry O’Brien’s support and mentorship has been invaluable to my experience at Kelley. I attribute much of my success in undergrad to my support system and I’m thankful that Terry has been a part of it.
Vibha Kamath, BS’26

Which class made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
BUS-K 303 (Technology & Business Analytics) opened my eyes to the power of analytics and how data can drive smart business decisions. I really enjoyed working with Tableau and Excel, and it made me realize that I want analytics to be a key part of my career, along with finance.
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Dr. Erin Coffman has had a significant impact on my academic and professional development. Her class made me realize how much I enjoy analytics and how I can incorporate it into finance, which has influenced the direction I want to take in my career. Her ability to make complex concepts engaging and relevant truly makes her stand out as a professor.
Supreet Kaur, BS’25

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
Taking a real estate class and attending all the Real Estate Club meetings. These opportunities allowed me to network with real estate and business professionals, gaining valuable insights into career paths and what it takes to be a business professional.
What is your advice to a student considering joining Kelley Indianapolis?
Be confident and take full advantage of the resources available to you. Work closely with your professors, as they are an invaluable source of knowledge and guidance. Build connections through student clubs and attend their meetings; they offer great opportunities to network and gain helpful information.
Kiana Kenmotsu, BS’26

Which class project made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
I-Core! I had a fully female-led I-Core faculty group, and it really inspired me as a leader while also challenging me academically through the material and project.
What is your advice to a student considering joining Kelley Indianapolis?
There’s a reason why the Kelley School of Business is ranked one of the best in the country! There are endless opportunities to connect and grow on campus. Your professors all come from the industry and bring really unique and inspiring stories that not only better you academically, but make you more well rounded for your future career.
Paarth Mehta, BS’26

What has been your favorite experience at Kelley?
The opportunity to visit the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs through the Kelley Honors Program. I engaged with remarkable leaders and learned from distinguished officers who had completed various missions. This experience reshaped my perspective on leadership, hard work, and the importance of teamwork
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Professor Barb Cutillo’s insightful advice, especially in the area of entrepreneurship, has shaped my academic and career goals. Her guidance helped our team become semi-finalists in the Vernon Clapp Idea Competition and JagStart, which motivated me to pursue venture creation as a career path. My goal of starting my own business in the future is a direct result of the invaluable lessons and encouragement she provided.
Nerea Lancho Poza, BS’25

What is your advice to a student considering joining Kelley Indianapolis?
Your time at Kelley is the perfect opportunity to take risks and explore new experiences. Speak up in class, connect with your professors and industry professionals at networking events, and take on projects that challenge you. Growth does not come from playing it safe; embrace the discomfort, and you will come out stronger, more confident, and ready for whatever comes next.
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Professor Kimberly Donahue has had the most profound impact on my time at Kelley. From the very beginning, she has been an incredible support system, always pushing me to see my own potential and recognize the strengths I bring to the table. Her belief in me has been truly transformative, and I am incredibly grateful for the role she has played in my journey.
Brett Scrogham, BS’26
Major: Finance and Real Estate

Which project made the biggest impact on you and your future goals?
The Commercial Real Estate Workshop introduced me to numerous industry professionals, challenged me to think on my feet, and required financial and market analysis, problem-solving, and presentation skills. It was a crash course in all things business and the class which has prepared me the most for life after graduation.
Which professor impacted you the most while at Kelley?
Professor Sara Coers has left a lasting impact on me and so many others in the Real Estate program. She is incredibly invested in preparing her students for after graduation, going out of her way to answer questions, connect us with industry professionals, and constantly challenge us. Professor Coers not only raises the bar for students, but she also inspires, supports, and prepares them to reach it.
