INDIANAPOLIS — The IU Kelley School of Business on the IUPUI campus is proud to welcome four new faculty members this fall. They bring with them years of teaching and research experience.
“We are excited about our continued growth and the excellent quality of our Kelley Indianapolis faculty. Our four new faculty hires will continue to build on our excellent research and teaching capabilities,” said Ken Carow, executive associate dean for faculty and research and professor of finance at the Kelley School. “Their excellence ensures Kelley will continue to be recognized as a top research business school and that our academic programs will provide quality instruction for graduate and undergraduate students.”

“I am equally interested in both consumer research and teaching. Working at the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis will enable me to innovate and excel in both areas. My research focuses primarily on developing consumer confidence and capability/readiness-to-act. A number of faculty members at Kelley are pursuing research that complements my own, and I look forward to many fruitful collaborations,” said Andrews.
“The Kelley School at IUPUI also has strong undergraduate and graduate degree programs and yet does not rest on those laurels. The school’s focus on innovation and enhancement of educational programming made it a very attractive place for me teach and to prepare students for success and career satisfaction.”
Stephanie Eckerd will join the faculty at the Kelley School as an assistant professor of operations management. She received her PhD in operations management from The Ohio State University and her MBA from Wake Forest University. Eckerd most recently served as a faculty member at the University of Tennessee and the University of Maryland. Before her career in academia, Eckerd worked as a procurement analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Eckerd’s research is focused in the area of supply chain management and behavioral operations, seeking to improve our understanding of buyer-suppler relationship management. Her research has been published in the Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Public Management Journal, and Journal of Strategic Contracting and Negotiation.
“I am honored and excited to be joining the faculty at the Kelley School of Business,” said Eckerd. “The faculty members here are highly regarded, leading business researchers, and I am looking forward to collaborating with and learning from them. The location of the school in the state’s capital and population center offers numerous connections to industry, which will be helpful in furthering my research and making an impact. I also believe the Kelley School has great, hard-working students, and I look forward to getting to know them, as well.”
Anne Ehinger joins the faculty at the Kelley School as an assistant professor of accounting. She received her PhD in accounting from the University of Georgia and her MBA and undergraduate degrees from the IU Kelley School of Business.

Ehinger’s research uses tax disclosures to study the interplay between corporate disclosures and the market’s use of information in decision making.
“As an alumna, I am very familiar with the Kelley School even before joining the faculty. Several factors drew me to the Kelley School in Indianapolis,” said Ehinger. “First, I was impressed by the quality of research and amount of collaboration occurring in this cross-discipline faculty. Second, the Kelley School in Indianapolis has strong ties to the Kelley School in Bloomington, allowing me to work with leading researchers from both campuses who share my research interests. Finally, I look forward to working with the motivated, hard-working students at the Kelley School.”

I hope to teach them more about the discipline that I have found so satisfying.”
