What has been your favorite experience so far at Kelley?
My favorite Kelley experience has been
the ability to form lifelong friendships with my classmates. Kelley has provided me with opportunities to get involved on campus. I feel connected with my classmates, and I have gotten to know most of them on a personal level. Being a Kelley student has definitely been rewarding both professionally and personally.
What has been your favorite class and why?
My favorite class was my X-105 Introduction to Business class. This class reaffirmed my passion for business, and I was able to gain many skills critical for professional success. The class also provided me with the opportunity to travel to New York City and tour the Federal Reserve Bank, the NYSE, NASDAQ and several other important financial institutions.
Favorite activity/extracurricular activity that you have been involved in while at Kelley?
My favorite activity on campus has been being part of the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR) and the Regatta Steering Committee. Through my involvement, I have been able to grow as a leader as well as form close friendships within these organizations. I will always cherish the memories I had on the day of the Regatta. Seeing the committee’s planning come to life in an event that connected IUPUI and the community was a very rewarding experience.
What is your Kelley moment?
My Kelley moment was my study abroad experience in Strasbourg, France. I have always been interested in international affairs and having the experience to study abroad with a diverse set of students was truly inspirational. I got to experience a whole new culture while also learning about integral factors that affect the European business atmosphere. I am expanding on my international experience and will be studying abroad this spring break in London with Kelley!
