Last weekend, Kelley Honors students celebrated the fast-approaching end of the semester with fellow students and faculty at this year’s “Dinner with the Dean” event.
In addition to enjoying delicious burgers, it was great to have a chance to relax and interact with friends as well as professors outside of the classroom environment. Dean Cochran provided a couple of cornhole sets, and there were quite a few intense games throughout the evening(including several student vs. faculty matchups)! Who knew there were so many skilled cornhole players in the Kelley Honors program?! After shaking off the rust that comes from not playing in awhile, I found my rhythm and had fun playing a few games myself.
After an intense last two weeks of the semester, I am happy for a chance to slow down and rest for a bit before beginning summer classes. (I’m studying abroad in Europe! More on that to come.)
All the best to those of you still finishing final exams! You’re almost there.
(And if you are interested in applying to Kelley Honors – we’d love to have you! You can find more info here.)
