The discussion, which follows the annual economic forecast report for the region issued by Augustine and Fifth Third Bank, will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Lilly Auditorium of the IUPUI University Library.
Augustine, based in Cincinnati, has been practicing portfolio management for more than 20 years. He has worked in various investment roles with Fifth Third Bancorp during the past 15 years.
He currently manages the investment and market strategy for the Bancorp, which handles more than $27 billion in private investments for its customers. Considered one of the leading market strategists in the country, Augustine has appeared on numerous national media outlets, including Fox News, CNBC and Bloomberg as well as media across Fifth Third’s central Indiana footprint.
During his visit with Kelley students, Augustine will provide insight into the national and international markets, including progress reports for 2013, predictions for 2014 and understanding of how the recent Washington politics has and will impact the economy.
