With an increase in enrollment this year, Kelley Indianapolis needed to expand physically in order to give more students access to our classes. The school added space to four upgraded classrooms on the second floor, which expands each room’s capacity to more than 60 students.
The new space is enhanced with a more interactive layout. Moveable tables and chairs offer more options for instructing students in groups or as a whole class. Each room now features seven large TV monitors, which have the capability to be controlled by student groups. One monitor situated at the back of the room can reflect what is on the screens at the front of the class so the instructor doesn’t have to turn his back on students while teaching.
Classrooms BS 2001, BS 2003, BS 2005 and BS 2007 also include upgraded technology with new electronic connections at each table. A new charging station was added to the back of the room with connections for USB so that students may recharge devices used in the learning process.
These enhanced additions to our classrooms respond to our growing population of students and the technological needs that impact learning at the Kelley School of Business Indianapolis.
