Ensuring equal access to justice for all individuals motivates Oni Harton. And her commitment to helping people who are unable to pay for professional legal assistance has culminated in her induction to the Indianapolis Bar Association Hall of Fame.
The Indy Bar Hall of Fame recognizes members who volunteer their time for the organization’s Ask a Lawyer and Hospice programs. The latter assists people with end-of-life legal concerns. Members, like Harton, give more than $2 million worth of their time each year.
Harton is a 2012 graduate of the Master of Science in Taxation program, the only one of its kind in Indiana. She is an associate in the law firm Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP.
